This collection is designed to celebrate and promote early career researchers who have completed their PhD within the last ten years (excluding career breaks). We aim to provide a dynamic platform showcasing groundbreaking research that addresses the UN Sustainable Development Goals and demonstrates significant advances with the potential for sustainable impact. Work across all areas of the journal’s scope is welcomed.

Author benefits:

• Visibility: All accepted papers will be prominently featured on the collection page, accompanied by a biography of the ‘rising star’ authors, and will receive dedicated promotion across our marketing channels.
• Recognition: The author of the top paper will be honoured with the Sus Sci Tech Early Career Award, selected by the Editor-in-Chief with support from the Editorial Board.

Submission Guidelines:

• Papers must be original research (no review papers will be accepted) and should not replicate previous works or studies.
• Research should address one or more of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
• Submissions must demonstrate significant advances and potential for sustainable impact in the field.
