主题范围

This Focus Collection, organised by the Editorial Board of JPhysB, aims to showcase the progress made in China in atomic, molecular and optical physics, while also promoting the translation of fundamental science into practical applications. The collection of articles aims to inspire, inform, and provide guidance and direction to researchers within these communities and beyond.

Topics include:

• Ultrafast, High-field, and X-ray Physics
• Application-driven research in quantum computing, sensing, and communication.
• Atomic and molecular physics at cold and ultracold temperatures
• Structure, spectroscopy, dynamics, collisions, dissociation and control of molecules and clusters
• Atomic structure, properties, and dynamics
• Atomic and Molecular Collisions
• Laser spectroscopy related to atomic/molecular absorption and emission
• Optical and laser techniques for atomic, molecular and biological imaging
• Atomic and molecular behaviours in strong laser fields

You may wish to refer to the journal scope, which includes information on the different Journal Sections which you can select at submission, along with the Focus Collection.

The Focus Collection solicits forward-looking contributions from scientists from China that outline recent developments and significant accomplishments that have been achieved and that need to occur to move the field forward. We welcome a range of article types, including Original Research and Reviews.

Note: To be considered for this collection, at least one of the corresponding authors must be based in China.
