JPhys Photonics is proud to celebrate the achievements of outstanding early-career researchers in photonics by publishing their exceptional work in our annual Emerging Leaders collection.
This collection highlights groundbreaking research across some of the most dynamic and innovative areas in photonics.
Emerging leaders are defined as leading researchers in their field who have completed their PhD in 2015 or later, allowing for a 10-year eligibility window (excluding career breaks). The collection features contributions from researchers nominated by the journal’s Editorial Board, while also welcoming direct submissions from talented individuals who meet the criteria.
Each year, the author of the most exceptional paper in the collection will be honoured with the JPhys Photonics Early Career Award, recognizing their significant contributions to the field.
Submission criteria:
- Articles must present original research and should not replicate prior studies.
- Review papers are not eligible.
- Contributions should represent a substantial advance or impact in the field and demonstrate a high level of scientific and technical rigor.
