主题范围
The International Symposium on Sensors (ISENS 2025) is being held on May 6–8, 2025 in Queretaro, Mexico. This event is dedicated to showcasing the latest advancements in sensor technologies, and brings together international experts in the field.
Photonic sensing is revolutionizing how we detect, measure, and analyze physical, chemical, and biological phenomena. Harnessing the unique properties of light, photonic sensors offer high sensitivity, rapid response times, and the ability to operate in extreme environments. These advantages can be employed in several fields such as healthcare, environmental monitoring, industrial process control, and security.
This Focus Issue on Photonic Sensing aims to highlight the latest advancements and emerging trends in this rapidly evolving field. With ongoing breakthroughs in integrated photonics, plasmonics, quantum sensing, and artificial intelligence-driven signal processing, there is a growing need to consolidate recent progress and explore future directions. By gathering high-quality contributions, this issue will serve as a key resource for the photonics and sensing communities.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
- Optical and plasmonic (bio)sensors
- Terahertz-based sensing
- Quantum-enhanced sensing
- Integrated photonic sensor platforms
- AI and machine learning for photonic sensing
- Environmental and chemical sensing
- Wearable and implantable optical sensors
- Photonic materials for sensing
- Photophysics / Photochemistry for sensing
- Bioimaging
We welcome original research, perspective and review articles that showcase novel concepts, experimental demonstrations, and real-world applications.
