自2004年曼彻斯特大学Geim小组成功分离出单层石墨烯以来,二维材料家族正式进入人们的视野。这些仅具有原子层级厚度的纳米材料表现出许多迥异于母体材料的电、光学特性,是现今纳米光子学中极具前景的研究对象,有望成为下一代光电器件核心元件。我们在Journal of Optics上组织了这期二维材料纳米光子学(Two-Dimensional Material Nanophotonics)特刊,包含4篇综述文章和12篇研究论文,展示在二维材料与光子结构融合、二维材料光发射、传输、调制与探测、二维材料等离激元与激子、拓扑与新奇量子性质等多个方向的最新观点和研究成果,谨供领域内研究人员参考。
