主题范围

This focus issue aims to shed light on 2D nanomaterials to highlight the latest advancements in rapidly evolving fields. The collection features articles on the synthesis, characterization, and application-related research using various 2D nanomaterials, including graphene, graphene oxide, MXenes, and transition metal dichalcogenides. These nanomaterials show unique properties such as high electrical conductivity, mechanical strength, and optical transparency, making them capable for a wide range of applications in energy storage, biomedical devices, and electronics. This focus issue will explore a wide range of 2D nanomaterials, including but not limited to graphene, graphene oxide, reduced graphene oxide, graphitic carbon nitride, MXenes, transition metal dichalcogenides, and boron nitride. When it comes to the applications of 2D nanomaterials, we will put an emphasis on:
  • Electronics and Optoelectronics:
    • Transistors, sensors, and displays
    • Flexible and wearable electronics
  • Energy Storage:
    • Batteries, supercapacitors, and fuel cells
  • Catalysis:
    • Electrocatalysis, heterogeneous catalysis
  • Biomedical Applications:
    • Drug delivery, biosensors, and tissue engineering
  • Composite Materials:
    • Reinforcement of polymers and metals
  • Environmental Applications:
    • Water filtration, air purification
