This focus collection highlights the research activities of women in nanotechnology, covering all aspects of nanotechnology, including but not limited to:

  • Quantum phenomena and technology
  • Biology and medicine
  • Electronics and photonics
  • Energy at the nanoscale
  • Patterning and nanofabrication
  • Sensing and actuating
  • Materials: synthesis or self-assembly
  • Materials: properties, characterization or tools

 

NOTE:

  1. The sole criterion for submission is that a female researcher is the primary author or co-corresponding author responsible for the study reported or opinions expressed.
  2. Male authors are welcome as long as the first criterion is met, as the focus issue aims to celebrate the diversity of our community, in addition to the important advances being made by women in nanotechnology.
